Contact lenses
Exam, fitting and follow-up
Contact lenses start with an exam and a fitting, and continue with a check to see how they sit.
Your contact lens prescription is yours. When the fitting is done we give you a copy, and you can fill it anywhere. The doctor shows you how to put them in, take them out and care for them.

How the fitting goes
- 01
Step 1: Eye exam
First your vision and eyes are checked, as in any exam.
- 02
Step 2: Fitting
The doctor measures your eyes and chooses a lens that sits well.
- 03
Step 3: Trial lenses
You put them in here, with help, and take some home to try.
- 04
Step 4: Follow-up
You come back so the doctor can see how they went, and then she gives you your prescription.
Questions about contact lenses
How is the fitting billed?
It depends on your plan. The front desk tells you before your visit which part your vision plan covers and which part is billed separately. See the billing questions.
Can I buy my contact lenses somewhere else?
