When the problem is your eyes, not just your vision

Diabetes and high blood pressure

Glaucoma and cataracts
We look for them at every exam. If more tests or a treatment are needed, we refer you to an ophthalmologist.
- Sudden vision loss, flashes of light, a curtain over your vision, a chemical splash or an eye injury needs care now. Call our office right away or go to an emergency room. If you can't reach us, call 911.
How a visit for a problem is billed
A visit for an eye problem, a check of a disease or a follow-up is billed to your medical insurance, not your vision plan.
If your visit has both parts, we bill each to the plan that pays for it and tell you beforehand. If you pay yourself, we give you a written estimate.
