Your prescription

Your prescription is yours

After your exam we give you a copy, and also of your contact lens prescription when the fitting is done. You can fill it anywhere.

  • We give it to you at the end

You do not have to ask for it or pay for it.

  • Fill it anywhere

Here, at another optical shop or online. You decide.

  • Contact lenses, too

The contact lens prescription is separate from the glasses one, and it is yours too.

Questions about your prescription

What does my prescription say?

It says which measurements your lenses need. The doctor explains it at the end of your exam, in Spanish or English.

How long does it last?

The doctor tells you when to come back for a check. With an old prescription it is better to have a new exam.

Is it billed separately?

No. The copy of your prescription is part of your visit. See the billing questions.

Need a new exam?

Book your visit for an evening or a Saturday.
